Welcome to the first Tumlinson Golf Tournament: Tee'd Off Against Breast Cancer!

Get ready to swing into action for a day of golf, community, and philanthropy as Pink Warrior Advocates hosts it's Inaugural Golf Tournament, proudly presented by Tumlinson Electric. This upcoming event will be a dynamic celebration of support for breast cancer warriors and their families. 

​

Pink Warrior Advocates is a local breast cancer non-profit that provides financial assistance and emotional support in 21 surrounding counties in central Texas. In 2023, there were 96 breast cancer warriors who received a Financial Assistance Grant for a total of $129,646 donated, plus an additional $11,626 awarded in emergency assistance grants. T.V. Thursday's is an emotional support group hosted by Pink Warrior Advocates that meets monthly. There have been additional groups added to provide support for newly diagnosed warriors and Stage IV warriors. In 2023 alone, there were 218 warriors who attended these meet ups. In addition to the local work that Pink Warrior Advocates does, there is also a Care Kit Program and Bra Assistance Program that are national programs. Last year, 599 care kits were sent out to warriors in active treatment and 444 mastectomy bras from AnaOno were sent out all across America.

On May 16, 2024 Star Ranch Golf Course will transform into a sea of pink, with Pink Warrior Advocates unofficial mascot, a pink flamingo taking over the course. This isn't just a golf tournament; it's a way to support a local non-profit that is providing the much needed support to the 1 in 8 women who get diagnosed with breast cancer, especially those in our community. Your sponsorship directly contributes to Pink Warrior Advocates' mission of, “Empowering those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer while advocating for their emotional and financial wellness.” Your support goes beyond the golf course; it's an investment in the well-being of our community.
